Guwahati, 23rd September: In a recent police operation in Barpathar, Golaghat, authorities successfully intercepted and seized 300 bags of urea fertilizer that were being transported illegally. The fertilizer was concealed beneath sacks of flour in a truck with registration number AS-03-BC-8888.
Two individuals, Rakib Ali and Ranjan Bhuiyan, have been apprehended in connection with this incident. Legal proceedings are underway against the accused as law enforcement continues to combat the unlawful transportation and trade of fertilizers in the region.
This action emphasizes the ongoing efforts to enforce regulations related to the sale and distribution of fertilizers to prevent misuse and illegal practices in the agricultural sector.
