Assam Police Seize Rs 10 Crore Worth of YABA Tablets in Major Drug Bust
Guwahati, 25th December: In a significant victory against drug trafficking, Assam’s Cachar district police, in collaboration with the BSF, conducted a successful search operation resulting in the seizure of YABA tablets valued at Rs 10 crore. The operation took place in the Chalchapra area of Silchar, where a vehicle arriving from a neighboring state was intercepted.
Five individuals were apprehended at the scene, and a thorough investigation has been launched into the matter. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took to social media platform X to announce and commend the police for this major drug bust.
