Assam: Police Seize Stolen Goods Worth Lakhs in Dolaigaon Raid, 2 arrested

Guwahati, 10th February: During a patrolling operation led by Officer-in-Charge Sukesh Ghosh of North Bongaigaon Police Station, a massive quantity of stolen goods worth several lakhs was recovered in Dolaigaon, under the Bongaigaon district.

The raid was conducted following the arrest of a youth earlier in the day in connection with the theft of motorcycles. Acting on information provided by the arrested individual, the police conducted a night raid in Dolaigaon, leading to the recovery of stolen items.

Among the seized items were four gas cylinders, 27 motor pumps, six batteries, and various other stolen goods valued at lakhs of rupees. In connection with the incident, two individuals, namely Luv Boro and Rahmat Ali, were arrested by the police.

The successful operation highlights the proactive efforts of law enforcement in combating crime and recovering stolen property in the region.
