Guwahati, 26th June: On the International Day against Drug Abuse & Illicit Trafficking, Assam police achieved a significant breakthrough with a drug bust in Nagaon district.
Led by Sub-Inspector Budu Ram Das of Rangaloo Police Post, a police team recovered 20 plastic containers suspected to contain heroin during a targeted operation.
The seized substance, totaling 2.45 grams in weight, was confiscated, and authorities have apprehended one suspect in connection with the incident.
This successful intervention underscores the ongoing efforts of local law enforcement agencies to combat drug trafficking and ensure community safety in the region.
