The incident transpired in Golaghat’s Kumarpatty area, prompting swift action from police authorities to protect the public. The individual, identified as Baba Shyam, also known as Baba, reportedly posed a grave danger to the community due to his aggressive conduct.
To ensure the safety of residents, police resorted to firing at Babashyam, who had purportedly attacked two individuals prior to the confrontation with law enforcement. This measure was taken to neutralize the immediate threat he posed.
