Assam Police Takes Stringent Action Against Traffic Violations: Suspends 11 Licenses and 6 Registration Certificates
Guwahati, 30th December: In an ongoing effort to promote responsible driving and ensure compliance with traffic rules, the Assam Police in Biswanath has suspended 11 driving licenses and 6 registration certificates over various traffic violations.
In a recent development on December 29, the Biswanath Police took decisive action by suspending 11 out of 13 driving licenses due to multiple traffic violations. Additionally, 2 licenses were suspended as the holders were not found in the system or the office records, warranting immediate suspension.
The police authorities also suspended 6 registration certificates, including four numbers of DC (District Commissioners), and 2 other RCs due to pending fitness certificate issues.
This move underscores the commitment of the Biswanath Police to enforce strict traffic rules and regulations, ensuring the safety of both drivers and pedestrians on the road.
By taking such measures, the police aim to encourage responsible driving practices and deter individuals from violating traffic norms, thereby contributing to enhanced road safety in the region.
