Assam Police Undertakes Extensive Reshuffle, Reassigns 64 Inspectors Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections 2024
Guwahati, 30th January: In a significant move, the Assam Police has initiated a major reshuffle affecting sixty-four police inspectors (UP) across the state in the Home (A) and Political Department which is headed by Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma.
The reassignment, announced by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Admin, is aimed at optimizing public service and aligning resources in preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
