Assam Police: Written Exam to be held on Feb 20
Guwahati: The written exam for the Assam Police recruitment for 9017 posts of Constables will be held on 20 February 2022.
Among the 9017 posts, there are 6662 posts for the constable (AB & UB), 1601 posts are for the constables in APRO – 813, and constables ETC in F&ES- 788. Moreover, 754 posts are for the constable/guardsman under DGCD and CGHG.
As per the official notification, the written test will be held in eight districts and the districts are – Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Sonitpur, Karbi Anglong, Cachar, Kokrajhar, Nalbari, and Kamrup Metro.
There are a total of 75 centres for the exam and a total of 32720 candidates will sit for the examination.
Following are the guidelines for the exam:
Candidates will be allowed to take the following items inside the exam hall –
- Total ballpoint pen ( Blck/Blue
- Pencil, Eraser
- Face Mask, Spectacle ( If used by the candidate), Credit card / Debit card, Admit Card
- Identity proof – Aadhar card /passport /driving licence/ PAN card /voter card (all in original)
Candidates will not be allowed to take the following items inside the exam hall
- Mobile phone /Smartwatch /calculator/ bag /ornaments or any other electronic gadgets duration of
It may be mentioned that the written test will be 2 hours from 11 a.m. to 1 pm and no candidate will be allowed to leave the exam hall before the completion of the scheduled time of examination
And also Candidate will have to submit a question booklet (question paper) and OMR answer sheet to The Invigilator before leaving the exam hall
