Guwahati: In a tragic incident, a policeman lost his life after being run over by a train in Karimganj district of Assam on Tuesday.
The incident was reported from Lamajuar area of Badarpur.
The deceased have been identified as Azad Uddin.
According to reports, Azad was crossing the rail line when he was hit by the train.
Investigations are on to know the exact circumstances under which the accident had happened.
