Assam Pradesh Congress Committee Unveils Booklet on Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra; Rahul Gandhi to Visit Assam on January 17

Guwahati, 11th January: The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) revealed a comprehensive booklet on the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra (BJNY) at a press conference held at Rajiv Bhawan in Guwahati city. Addressed during the occasion were prominent figures such as Debabrata Saikia, Leader, CLP, Chairman, Media Committee on BJNY, Bharat Narah, Kamakhya Purkayastha, Working President, APCC, Romen Borthakur, VC, APCC, Dr. Asif Md Nazar, MLA, Bedabrata Bora, Co-Chairman, Media, BJNY.

Scheduled to commence on January 14, 2024, from Manipur to Mumbai, the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra aims to establish economic and social justice in the country. Rahul Gandhi, a key leader of the Congress party, is set to arrive in Assam on January 17, covering a total of 833 km in the state over eight days, touching 17 districts.

The tentative route in Assam includes districts such as Amguri, Jorhat, Majuli, Dhemaji, Lakhimpur, Tezpur, Kaliabor, Nagaon, Guwahati, Hajo, Mukalmua, Kukar Par, Chenga, Barpeta, Howly, Sorbhog, Manikpur, Bongaigaon, Chapar, Bilasipara, Gauripur, Golakganj, Bakshirhat. The Yatra in Assam is expected to conclude on January 25, 2024, with Rahul Gandhi engaging in meetings with political parties and organizations during this period.
