Assam: Prime Accused In Chatribari Murder Case Arrested from Delhi
Guwahati: The prime accused of Guwahati’s Chatribari murder has been arrested by the police on Monday.
A joint team of Guwahati Police along with Bihar Police apprehended the accused from Delhi.
The accused has been identified as W Yadav.
Prior to this, Guwahati Police detained Pankaj Kumar, another suspect in the murder investigation.
Upon interrogation, Kumar revealed that the entire incident was planned by W Yadav who was reportedly hiding in Nepal.
Avdesh Yadav, a businessman from Guwahati, was fatally shot by bike-riding criminals on February 21 close to his home.
Though he was shifted to the hospital, he was declared dead by the doctors.
