Guwahati: The two-prime accused in the Sikha Saikia suicide case was arrested by Sivsagar Police on Wednesday night.
The accused couple was arrested by the Sivasagar police from Assam’s Tinsukia.
It may be mentioned that Sikha Saikia’s suicide note which was left behind on June 24, indicated a married couple by the names of Rosy Rabha Gogoi and Nirikshit Gogoi. The duo was on the run after the police launched search operations based on the note.
Sikha had killed herself by leaping off a bridge at the Amguri ghat in Sivasagar into the Dikhow River.
The arrested couple is currently being questioned by police officers at the Sivasagar Police Station.
