Guwahati: A massive fire broke out in Behali area of Assam’s Sonitpur district on Monday.
The incident occurred due to domestic cylinder blast at around 9.30am in Uttar Jinjia village of the district at a person’s resident named Paltan Bachak.
In the incident the whole property of the house was gutted along with a cash amount of total Rs 280000.
According to reports, property worth around 10 lakhs destroyed in the explosion.
Meanwhile, fire brigade rushes to the location and doused the fire but Bachak’s house was completely destroyed in the flame.
However, no casaulity has been reported in the incident.
It may be mentioned that keeping in view the victim’s situation the locals requested MLA Ranjit Dutta to extend help towards him.
