Guwahati: Assam reports 508 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
Reportedly, active cases in Assam now stands at 6,032 with overall positivity rate at 6.41%, as per data published by National Health Mission (NHM) Assam.
According to data released by the state National Health Mission (NHM), the total number of active cases in the state has risen to 6,032 and the positive rate is at 6.41 percent.
However, 618 people have been discharged and no deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours.
A total of 7,549 fresh tests were conducted, of which 46 cases each from Dibrugarh (46), Lakhimpur (46), Kamrup Metro (38), Sonitpur (28), and Biswanath (26) were recorded.
Assam as a whole reported 7,39,514 cases so far, of which 7,26,201 have been closed. The recovery rate is at 98.20%.
A total of 4,11,102 tests have been performed, and 17,897 recoveries have been reported in the past 24 hours, but India has only discovered 13,734 new cases. As a result, there are currently 1,39,792 active cases nationwide. India has a 98.49 percent recovery rate.
