Guwahati: Assam have reported 670 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours.
With this, the state’s active caseload has gone up to 5,621 while the positivity rate stood at 7.35 percent, as per the data published by the state National Health Mission (NHM) on Friday.
According to the data published by the state NHM, 662 patients have been treated and released from hospitals in the past 24 hours. However, no deaths have been reported.
The new cases today were discovered out of 9,112 tests performed in the previous 24 hours. Dibrugarh (63), Cachar (44), Lakhimpur (45), Sonitpur (44) and Goalpara (36) have reported new cases.
Assam’s overall case count for Covid-19 reached 7,38,426 at this point, with 7,24,790 in recoveries. The rate of recovery was 98.15 percent.
