Guwahati: The results for the Assam direct recruitment grade III and IV positions exams which were recently completed would be announced on September 18, according to a government announcement released on Thursday (September 15).
The Assam direct recruitment grade III and IV results will be announced prior to Durga Puja, according to earlier statements by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Notably, tests were held in August for grade III and grade IV positions filled through direct recruitment in Assam.
Additionally, the Assam Government has decided to reimburse candidates for their examination expenses if they are unsuccessful in the direct recruitment exam for Grade III and IV positions.
Victor Das, the owner of a coaching facility in Guwahati, recently accused the recruiting process of being a “scam,” which sparked a significant debate regarding the Assam direct recruitment examinations.
He stated that some applicants were asking for between Rs 3 and Rs 8 lakh for the positions.
He was charged with violating sections 120B, 153, 153A, 384, and 505 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) when the Assam police arrested Victor Das.
However, Victor Das has been given a temporary bail until September 29 by the Gauhati High Court in Assam.
