Officials conducted the pre-dawn operation based on accurate intelligence inputs and tracked developments in the Manas National Park, demonstrating the effectiveness of intelligence-based actions in combating wildlife crimes.
This operation marks a milestone as it is the first time such an intelligence-driven operation has resulted in the successful recovery of prohibited wildlife items and the apprehension of poachers. Alongside the rhino horn, other confiscated items included antlers, tusks, animal bones, and more.
