Northeast Desk, 29th September: In a joint operation conducted by the Assam Rifles and Nagaland Police on September 27 (Wednesday), three active cadres of NSCN (K-Nikki) were apprehended in Nagaland, and a cache of arms and ammunition was seized from their possession.
Reports indicate that the operation successfully resulted in the apprehension of these individuals who were allegedly involved in various anti-social activities, including extortion. Among the items recovered from the apprehended cadres were three pistols of 0.32 caliber, as well as ammunition and warlike stores.
The Assam Rifles has communicated this significant development via Platform X, highlighting the joint efforts of security forces to address security concerns and maintain law and order in the region.
