Assam Rifles and Tripura Police Destroy Illegal Marijuana Plantation Worth Rs 1.05 Crore
Northeast Desk, 21st January: In a joint operation, Assam Rifles, along with Tripura Police and TSR, destroyed an illegal marijuana plantation in the general area of Lembucherra, Tripura.
The operation targeted and eradicated approximately 30,000 fully grown marijuana plants, with an estimated market value of Rs 1.05 crore.
This action is part of the ongoing efforts to combat drug-related activities and prevent the illegal cultivation of narcotics.
The collaboration between security forces and state police demonstrates a collective commitment to curbing the production and distribution of illegal substances in the region.
