Assam Rifles Conducts Free Medical Camps in Tengnoupal and Chandel Districts of Manipur
Imphal: Assam Rifles organized free medical camps in the remote villages of Tengnoupal and Chandel districts of Manipur on Saturday, offering essential healthcare services to 150 residents.
The medical teams, consisting of Assam Rifles doctors and district health authorities, provided health screenings, consultations, and free medicines.
The camp at Phaisanjang village alone served 83 residents, offering medical advice and treatment. In addition to general healthcare services, the initiative also included cancer awareness sessions, educating the locals about the early detection signs and preventive measures of the disease.
The residents expressed appreciation for the services, particularly given the challenges of accessing healthcare in these remote areas. This initiative underscores the commitment of Assam Rifles to improving the health and well-being of local communities.
