Assam Rifles Extends Healthcare to Remote Arunachal Pradesh Villages

Northeast Desk, 3rd Jan: In a commendable effort to extend healthcare to remote regions, Assam Rifles organized a mobile medical camp at Khona village in the Vijaynagar circle of Changlang district, Arunachal Pradesh, on December 31. This outreach initiative aimed to provide essential medical services to residents in far-flung areas.

The medical camp successfully catered to 53 locals, offering medical consultations, blood monitoring, blood sugar screening, BMI checkups, ENT examinations, and the distribution of essential medicines. The dedicated medical staff from Assam Rifles played a crucial role in delivering these services to the people of Khona village.

This ongoing commitment to healthcare outreach reflects the Assam Rifles’ dedication to the well-being of communities in remote areas, ensuring that essential medical assistance reaches those who might face challenges in accessing healthcare facilities.
