Assam Rifles Organise Medical Camp In Arunachal

Guwahati: The Assam Rifles’ Jairampur battalion on Sunday organised a medical camp in conjunction with the local government at the Vijaynagar village in Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh.

This medical camp was organised under the aegis of the Headquarters of Inspector General Assam Rifles (HQ IGAR) (North).

The purpose of the event was to screen the villagers and provide them with the appropriate medical care from doctors, orthopaedic surgeons, ophthalmologists, gynaecologists, and dentists.

A total of 237 locals, including women, children, and old persons, benefited from the camp, said a top Assam Rifles official.

The villagers also expressed their appreciation for the civil authorities and Assam Rifles for organising this medical camp.
