Guwahati: In a tragic incident, a jawan of the Assam Police Task Force (APTF) was killed in a road accident in Hailakandi district of Assam.
The incident occurred at the National Highway on Monday night.
The deceased jawan has been identified as Bijoy Nath.
According to reports, the collision occurred when he lost control of his vehicle and slammed into the side rails.
Meanwhile, local police arrived at the scene and recovered the body for post-mortem.
