Guwahati, 10th August: The Assam Boat Racing & Rowing Association’s General Secretary, Mr. Nababuddin Ahmed, has unveiled the Assam Rowing Team that will be participating in the 6th Indoor Rowing Championships. The championship is scheduled to take place at the Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune, from August 10th to August 14th, 2023. The Rowing Association of Maharashtra is in charge of planning and hosting this event on behalf of The Rowing Federation of India.
The team, consisting of 16 skilled and determined members, is geared up for the competition and will be departing from Guwahati today, the 10th of August, 2023. The team’s journey will be led by Mr. Lalchand Rajbhar as Sr. Men’s Coach and Ms. Soma Barua as Sub-Jr. Coach, ensuring that the athletes receive the best guidance and training for the championships.
