Guwahati: In a shameless incident from Assam, a Railway Protection Force (RPF) jawan allegedly molested and assaulted a girl from another state in Assam.
The incident took place on board the Avadh Assam Express as it travelled from Lumding to Guwahati.
The girl reportedly travelled to Diphu to take a test linked to her employment.
The jawan inappropriately touched her under the guise of assisting her in finding her seat.
Meanwhile, the culprit identified as Om Prasad Meena has been taken into custody by the Government Railway Police (GRP).
