Guwahati: A massive fire broke out in Darrang district of Assam on Monday late.
The fire broke out at Nonke Gorapori area.
According to reports, several houses were gutted in the fire.
A number of fire tenders reached the spot and doused the fire with the help of locals.
A local resident informed that the cause of the fire, which erupted due to an electrical short-circuit.
No casualties were reported, but property, including household belongings, was burnt down.
