Assam: Several including 3 children injured in Hasraobari Road Accident Involving Two Vans
Guwahati, 13th May: A road accident in Hasraobari, Gossaigaon, has left several individuals injured, including children, following a collision between two vans.
The incident involved a Bolero pickup van and a passenger Irish van bearing registration number 16C 5340. The collision resulted in multiple passengers sustaining injuries of varying severity, with reports indicating that three children are among the injured, one of whom is in critical condition.
Emergency responders swiftly mobilized to the scene, and all injured individuals have been promptly transported to Gossaigaon Civil Hospital for urgent medical treatment.
The injured victims have been identified as Alangbar Narzary (25), Aniruddha Hazwari (17), Rashmeeta Narzary (8), Jackson Narzary (2), Mithun Narzary (35), Rasna Basumatary, Dansrang Basumatary (4), and Manjit Iswari (60).
Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident to ascertain factors contributing to the collision and to implement measures aimed at preventing similar incidents in the future. As efforts to determine the cause progress, authorities are urging heightened caution and adherence to traffic regulations to ensure road safety for all commuters.
