Assam Showcases Investment Potential to Ahmedabad Investors

Guwahati: A high-profile Investors’ Roadshow was held in Ahmedabad on January 24th by the Assam government, ahead of the upcoming Advantage Assam 2.0: Investment and Infrastructure Summit 2025.

Led by Assam Minister Jayanta Malla Baruah, the roadshow engaged over 230 investors, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders.

Minister Baruah emphasized Assam’s strategic location as a gateway to Southeast Asia, its robust infrastructure, and its strengths in sectors like oil, gas, tea, agriculture, and green energy.

He highlighted government initiatives, including customized incentives and business-friendly policies, to facilitate ease of doing business in the state.

The roadshow showcased Assam’s thriving tourism sector and the growing industrial potential demonstrated by projects like the Tata Semiconductor initiative.

Minister Baruah stated that the Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit aims to position Assam as a premier investment and industrial hub.

The roadshow witnessed enthusiastic participation from investors, reaffirming confidence in Assam’s business ecosystem.

The upcoming Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit 2025 is expected to strengthen industrial and trade ties, attracting global investments to propel Assam’s growth trajectory.

FICCI (Gujarat Council) Chairman Rajiv Gandhi, along with senior Assam government officials, were present during the event.
