Assam: Silchar Airport gets Ambulift services
Silchar (Assam): For the first time Ambulift services to be operated at Kumbhirgram airport in Assam’s Silchar.
According to reports, Airport Authority of India (AAI) and Officer on Special Duty (OSD) at the airport had briefed about Ambulift and its functioning.
It also informed that how it enables the services for geriatric patients, who cannot climb the stairs.
Moreover, AAI further added the Ambulift is fully air –conditioner with Oxygen cylinder and among others necessary equipment inside.
It may be mentioned that the airport is undergoing through a major infrastructural facelift in a bid to offer additional facilities for the travellers.
As of now there are at least 10 flights from Silchar connecting to Guwahati, Kolkata and Delhi.
