Guwahati, 10th September: The spray thief gang has resurfaced in Dhing, Nagaon, with a new attack on Auniati Satra Village. Late at night, Lakshmi Kant Bora and Bina Bora were incapacitated by the gang’s spray, which led to a robbery.
The Salaguri police responded to the scene and have initiated an investigation. This incident comes despite recent reports of the arrest of four alleged members of the same gang, which had previously given residents a sense of relief.
The latest attack has heightened public concerns and skepticism about the police’s handling of the case. Some residents speculate that the recent robbery may involve broader theft activities, potentially linked to the suspects previously detained.
