Assam: SSB and State Police Recover Hidden Firearms in Joint Operation in Takampur Forest
Assam: In a coordinated operation, the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and Assam Police uncovered two hidden firearms in the remote Takampur forest area within Gosaingaon’s Kuchugaon region.
Acting on intelligence reports about concealed weapons within the dense forests of Raimona National Park, SSB notified the Assam Police, prompting a strategic search led by Rajendra Das from Kuchugaon police station.
The police team executed the search under cover of night, navigating through challenging terrain. Their efforts paid off as they located two firearms meticulously concealed by unidentified individuals.
