Guwahati: A student attacked his instructor with a machete in the Charaideo district of Assam on Monday.
The horrific incident happened at Sonari’s Tingalibam Primary School.
The teacher, identified as Tulsi Handique was critically injured and sent to a nearby hospital after receiving severe injuries.
The reason behind the attack is yet to be ascertained.
A case has been filed in relation to the assault and the accused, identified as Munu Praja has been taken into custody.
