Guwahati, 22nd September: The Tinsukia police in Assam conducted a successful operation resulting in the arrest of four individuals involved in a recent robbery in Pengeri. The robbery had occurred just a day before the police operation.
Ratneshwar Baruah, Santosh Lama, Avanish Urang, and Bijul Maran have been named as the suspects who have been apprehended. Two more members of the group, though, are still on the loose.
During the operation, the police seized incriminating materials used during the robbery, including two handmade guns, a sickle, and a sum of Rs 70,000 in cash.
The detention of the accused offenders and the recovery of stolen property are the results of the Tinsukia Police’s quick and efficient operation. To catch the remaining suspects and learn more about the incident, the investigation is still ongoing.
