Assam: Suicide of Ram Prasad Sabor Shocks Margherita Tea Estate Community

Guwahati, 21st June: The tight-knit community of Nichu Line under Margherita Tea Estate was plunged into sorrow on Friday following the tragic death of Ram Prasad Sabor, a 30-year-old resident who took his own life by hanging in his kitchen.

The grim discovery was made by Sabor’s wife upon her return from duty at the Margherita Tea Garden, where she found his lifeless body. Local residents, deeply affected by the incident, described Sabor as a kind-hearted individual, leaving them bewildered as to the motivations behind his decision to end his life.

Margherita police swiftly responded to the scene, securing the area and initiating necessary procedures. The body of Ram Prasad Sabor has been transferred to Tinsukia Civil Hospital for postmortem examination, as authorities seek to determine the exact circumstances surrounding his untimely death.

Ram Prasad Sabor leaves behind his grieving wife, two children, parents, and numerous relatives, all of whom are devastated by this unexpected loss. The community remains in mourning as they come to terms with the tragic event and extend their heartfelt condolences to Sabor’s bereaved family during this difficult time.
