Assam: Susmita Hotel and Restaurant Sealed in Baksa for Hygiene Violations

Assam: The Food Safety Department has taken decisive action by sealing Susmita Hotel and Restaurant in Salbari, Baksa district, following allegations of inadequate cleanliness and poor hygiene practices.

The operation was led by the Baksa district Food Safety Officer, with the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Salbari overseeing the proceedings. Authorities confirmed that the restaurant, owned by Bhujan Arya, was found in violation of food hygiene norms during inspections.

This enforcement underscores the department’s commitment to ensuring food safety standards and protecting public health. Further investigations are underway to assess the extent of the violations and determine any additional measures required.
