Guwahati: A suspected rhino poacher has been arrested in Jorhat district of Assam, reports surfaced on Sunday.
The suspected poacher was apprehended from Hatihal area in Teok.
According to reports, the poacher have been identified as Subhash Choudhury.
Choudhury was arrested on suspicion of having connections with rhino poachers based on information recieved over the phone from a rhino poacher who was caught in Bokakhat.
Choudhury was arrested by Teok Police who was then handed over to Bokakhat Police for questioning.
