Assam: Swami Vivekananda Statue Unveiled at Bholanath College in Dhubri
Guwahati: A life-size statue of Swami Vivekananda was ceremonially unveiled today at Bholanath College, Autonomous Dhubri, marking a truly momentous occasion for the institution and the wider community. The installation, a significant undertaking led by Bibek Prasad, general secretary of the ABVP-led Bholanath College Students’ Union, has been lauded as a pivotal move towards rekindling Bharat’s timeless ideals and the profound vision of Swami Vivekananda.
The air during the unveiling ceremony was reportedly thick with devotion and palpable pride. Revered Vedic mantras were chanted, an act that not only invoked blessings but also powerfully symbolised the spiritual and intellectual awakening that Swami Vivekananda tirelessly championed throughout his life.
Swami Vivekananda, widely revered across India as a youth icon, philosopher, and social reformer, is celebrated for his immensely inspiring message of nationalism, spirituality, and selfless service. The grand ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of ABVP National Secretary Kamalesh Singh and Assam State Organising Secretary Anup Kumar.
