Assam: In a distressing incident, a TET-qualified teacher, identified as Tanushree Roy from Subhas Nagar, attempted to take her own life by jumping into the Longai River in the Sribhumi area.
Local residents and police acted swiftly, rescuing Roy from the river in a critical condition. She was immediately transported to Shri Bhumi Hospital, where she is currently undergoing medical treatment.
