Guwahati: On the occasion of Rongali Bihu, a robbery was reported in Guwahati city of Assam on Thursday.
The incident took place at the Manik nagar locality in Narengi Tinali of the city.
As per the sources of MyNewsNE, unidentified individuals allegedly broke the residence of a family and stole 3 lakhs of rupees and jewellery including gold and silver.
Meanwhile, many valuable items including television were stolen by the robbers.
Reportedly, the family was living in a rented house of the locality where the incident occurred.
