Assam: Three Cattle Traders Brutally Assaulted in Bongaigaon on Suspicion of Theft

Bongaigaon: Three cattle traders—Ashiruddin, Shahidul, and Kusbar Ali—were brutally assaulted by a group of youths near Kishan Bazar in Assam’s Bongaigaon district while transporting cattle along the highway.

According to police, the attackers also assaulted the cows, suspecting them to be stolen. North Bongaigaon police arrived at the scene and intervened to bring the situation under control.

Following the attack, Kajalgaon police in Chirang district arrested multiple individuals linked to the assault. Authorities have launched a detailed investigation into the incident.
