Assam to Create 1.5 Lakh Government Jobs by May 2025: Chief Minister Sarma

Guwahati, 27th July: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced a major achievement for the state’s employment sector in a post on X. Sarma revealed that the state government plans to create 1.5 lakh new government jobs by May 2025, underscoring a strong commitment to employment and development.

Sarma expressed his satisfaction with the enthusiasm displayed by recent recruits, who have recently embarked on their careers in public service. He noted, “Happy to see the enthusiasm among the new joinees who began their career in public service yesterday. I hope they will serve the people of Assam diligently.”
