Guwahati, 26th June: A tragic accident on National Highway 17 near Golakganj, Dhubri, claimed the life of a truck driver on June 26.
The incident occurred when a truck with the registration number WB-11-F-8170 lost control and overturned near the Bishnodai village panchayat on NH-17.
The deceased driver has been identified as Gautam De from Kolkata, Howrah. The truck’s handyman, Shahib Sha, also from Howrah, sustained serious injuries in the accident.
Local authorities and emergency responders were promptly alerted to the scene to provide medical assistance and manage the aftermath.
