Assam: Two Assam Railway Stations Earn ‘Eat Right Station’ Certification
Guwahati, 9th November: Two Railway Stations in Assam, under Northeast Frontier Railways (NFR), have been honored with the prestigious ‘Eat Right Station’ certification by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). The two railway stations are Rangiya and Mariani railway station. This recognition applauds their dedication to providing high-quality and nutritious food options to travelers.
The FSSAI certification, spanning from September 25, 2023, to September 24, 2025, for Rangiya Railway Station and from October 19, 2023, to October 18, 2025, for Mariani Railway Station, solidifies their adherence to stringent guidelines ensuring safe and wholesome dining experiences.
This accolade not only commends the present but also signifies a promising future, as NFR plans to extend this certification to more stations. The ongoing efforts reflect NFR’s commitment to establishing a network of ‘Eat Right Stations,’ prioritizing safe and hygienic food services for passengers across the region.
