Guwahati: Assam Police arrested two persons with fake gold biscuits in the Biswanath district of the state.
The arrestees were identified as Ikramul Hoque and Sohar Ali and they are residents of Tezpur.
According to reports, when the accused were trying to sell the fake gold biscuits to a person of Sootea’s Charaijania village, the buyer got suspicious and informed the matter to police.
On the basis of the information, the police arrested the accused and further seized the two fake gold biscuits.
