Guwahati: In what appears to be a continuous and a very common act of crime of fake gold trade, two persons has been arrested by Assam Police and recovered fake gold from them.
The seized four gold biscuits were recovered from Golakganj in Dhubri district of Assam.
The arrestees identified as Hafizuddin Sheikh and Naseeruddin Sheikh.
The duo was arrested from a bus that was heading towards Cooch Behar.
Further investigation is underway.
