Assam: Two Workers Stabbed at Brick Kiln in Chhaygaon Amidst Allegations of Mistreatment
Guwahati: A violent attack unfolded at a brick kiln in Kharidal, Chhaygaon, leaving two workers with serious injuries.
The incident, which occurred at the RUB brick kiln in Garomari, has sparked outrage and allegations of severe mistreatment by the kiln’s management. Reports suggest that the workers were subjected to “Talibani-style punishment,” leading to the violent assault.
Following the incident, a police team from Garomari swiftly responded, arriving at the scene to assess the situation and initiate an operation to apprehend the assailants.
The injured workers, identified as Julhas Ali and Swah Alam, both residents of Bhatnapaiti Char under Alopati Police Station in Barpeta district, were promptly rescued and are currently receiving medical treatment.
Authorities are actively investigating the matter to gather further details and ensure justice is served for the victims.
