Guwahati, 15th June: Mullaganj in South Karimganj is reeling from shock and grief following a devastating accident that tragically claimed the lives of two young girls. The incident occurred when four-year-old Sabrin Akhtar and three-year-old Nayeem Uddin accidentally fell into a nearby pond close to their home.
The community was left in despair as the children were swiftly rescued from the water and rushed to Nilam Bazar Primary Hospital. Despite efforts to revive them, doctors pronounced them brought in without vital signs, leaving the area heartbroken.
Local authorities, including the Circle Officer of Nilam Bazar and police personnel, responded promptly to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. As the community mourns the loss of these young lives, efforts are underway to provide support and solace to the grieving families during this difficult time.
