Guwahati: In an unfortunate incident, two young people were detained on Thursday in the Lakhimpur district of Assam for reportedly trying to rob people with toy firearms.
According to reports, the young individuals were allegedly trying to rob people while patrolling the highway with toy guns when they were first seen by the residents.
However, locals quickly overwhelmed the pair and was handed over to police.
The incident was reported in Dhakuakhana.
Meanwhile, an investigation into the matter has been initiated. The identity of the youths has not been ascertained yet.
