Guwahati, 28th November: Tensions prevailed in Baihata and Kamalpur area under Assam’s Kamrup district on Tuesday morning when a flag belonging to the banned organization United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) was spotted in the area.
The flag was spotted flying on the divider of National Highway No. 31, contributing to a tense atmosphere in the region.
As of now, it remains uncertain who might be responsible for displaying the flag of the banned outfit in the area.
The situation has created an air of unease, with authorities working to determine the origin and motive behind this provocative act.
