Assam: ULFA-I militant surrenders in Charaideo
Guwahati: A militant belonging to the banned United Liberation Front of Asom– Independent (ULFA-I) surrendered with arms and ammunition before the Assam Police in Charaideo district on Thursday.
The apprehended militant has been identified as Nilutpol Tamuli alias Jagaran Asom.
The surrendered militant deposited one 7.62mm MQ81 assault rifle, three magazines, 148 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, and 25.700 kg of RDX.
This was announced by the Special Director General of Police GP Singh on Twitter.
